We recommend that you regularly take part in our tutorials to prepare for the exams.
The tutorials start every semester in the 2nd week of lectures.
The dates of the tutorials ("Structured Tutoring") are published at the beginning of each lecture period in the Moodle course on "Structured Tutoring". You can find the access data for this Moodle course in the eCampus course on "Structured Tutoring" in the Basismodul "Grundlagen der Sozialökonomik".
Basismodul "Grundlagen der Sozialökonomik"
Please register for the exam (period 1 or 2) in the respective course in eCampus.
The module examination in the Basismodul "Grundlagen der Sozialökonomik" consists of a graded written examination in the lecture "Einführung in die Volkswirtschaftslehre" (Modulteil I). In the lecture "Einführung in die Wirtschafts- und Sozialpolitik" (Modulteil II), an ungraded course certificate must be obtained. This is earned by passing a test on the contents of the lecture "Einführung in die Wirtschafts- und Sozialpolitik". In each semester both, the exam and the test, are offered on 2 dates (1st date at the beginning of the lecture-free period; 2nd date at the end of the lecture-free period, before the beginning of the following semester).
Note: The module supervisor is responsible for recognizing academic achievements.
Aufbaumodul "Theoretische Grundlagen der Wirtschafts- und Sozialpolitik"
Please register for the corresponding exam (period 1 or 2) of the course 080653 "Modulklausur Theoretische Grundlagen der Wirtschafts- und Sozialpolitik" in eCampus:
In accordance with the examination regulations of the Faculty of Social Science for the B.A. Social Science, the advanced module "Theoretische Grundlagen der Wirtschafts- und Sozialpolitik" does not include partial examinations for the individual lectures. The module concludes with the successful participation in a two-hour examination on the material covered in the lectures.
Exceptions to the examination regulations due to the following cases are determined by the module supervisor or the student counseling in a personal discussion with the respective student:
Participation in a partial exam/combined exam is only possible in exceptional cases if you have to write it due to specific requirements/recognitions of the respective module supervisor/student counselor or if you are taking part in a partial exam for the "Optionalbereich".
Please bring your Master's requirements (digital or in printed form) with you on the day of the exam.
In these exceptional cases, you can take part in the following partial exams or in so-called combination exams from individual sub-areas (which do not correspond to the final module exams in terms of content):
To register, please contact the secretariat of the Section for Social Policy and Socioeconomics, Ms. Bonk, GD 1/307. Please bring a copy of the written recognition by the module supervisor or the form on the requirements for the Masters program of the study counselor and your matriculation number.
You will also find this information on your exam sheet.
The correction deadline for the exams is usually 6 weeks, an earlier correction is not possible due to organizational reasons. We therefore recommend that all students who urgently need their grade attend the first exam date. In order to ensure quick processing, we ask you to refrain from making enquiries about the announcement of results during this period. All results will be published exclusively in the CampusOffice system.
Once the results have been published, you will have the opportunity to inspect the exam correction. We will publish the exam review dates on this homepage in time.
For reasons of examination regulations, a withdrawal period of one week has been introduced for all graded module examinations. Students can then withdraw independently via Campus Office up to one week before examinations etc. without giving reasons, after that only with sufficient reasons (attestation). Otherwise, the examination will be treated as "failed".
Please hand in the certificate immediately to Ms. Bonk in the secretary's office (GD 1/307). Please state your matriculation number and the exam from which you wish to withdraw.
Then please contact:
bienert-optionalbereich@rub.de
Please only use your RUB-E-Mail address to contact us and state the specific course name and course number in the subject line.
