Section Social Policy and Social Economy

Karolina Simonić was born on April 21, 1967 in Maribor, Slovenia.
She studied economics and psychology at the University of Würzburg and worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Human Resources and Organization at the University of Würzburg and the Chair of Human Resource Management at the Ruhr University Bochum.
Her research interests include the economics of education, personnel economics and new institutional economics.
She completed her doctorate on the topic of "Human capital investments in companies".
Since April 2010, she has been working as a research assistant at the "Social Policy and Social Economy" section.
