Closing Colloquia

Dear course participants,

all information on the closing colloquia can be found in the Moodle course for the respective event (link and password are published in eCampus).
In the Moodle course you will find the link to both the information session (where you will have the opportunity to clarify any questions with me) and the closing colloquia (please always check eCampus for dates). All information about the closing colloquia will be published in Moodle well in advance.

The information session will take place online on the announced date (see eCampus). You can join the event via the link published in Moodle. As Moodle is sometimes overloaded, it may be useful to copy the link beforehand and save it locally.
Participation in the info session is not obligatory! If you do not have any questions, you do not have to attend the appointment. All relevant information is or will be summarized in the Moodle course.

Important:
All participants must upload a contribution to Moodle by the deadline published in Moodle (in the "Essay" section, please upload as pdf).

Form:
This contribution should be a simple essay (approx. 2-3 pages, no special formal requirements). Group work of up to four students is permitted (the total length of approx. 2-3 pages also applies to group work). Please note on the cover sheet of the essay, in addition to your name and matriculation number, which seminars you have attended as part of the module and on which topic you may have given a presentation. (I need this information for a group assignment during the colloquim).

Content:
The topic of the essay can be chosen freely and does not have to be discussed with me. It only has to fit the topic of the "Powipo" module, should express your own ideas or considerations (e.g. an interdisciplinary approach to a question that you have always been interested in) and it should not be a simple summary of a presentation or a seminar topic! (References are therefore not mandatory, as long as you use your own ideas). You can take up any question, topic or problem that interests you (and that has a certain thematic relevance to the module).
Some of your essays and the topics, questions and arguments presented in them will be discussed in the closing colloquia (this will be anonymous!).

Please register for the colloquia in eCampus.

If you have any questions, please contact: karolina.simonic@rub.de
