Application

Approximately 30 places are allocated for the MA programme ECUE in each winter semester (start: October). Since the interdisciplinary MA study programme ECUE deals with the European area on many levels of content, we expect our students to be very willing to familiarise themselves with the various disciplines of the study programme (sociology, politics, economics, history, philosophy, culture). In the courses, both a very good knowledge of German and English (a minimum of 65% of the courses are taught in English) are indispensable. In order to meet these requirements, the MA study programme ECUE has defined admission requirements (see requirements and examination regulations ECUE), which must be fulfilled when applying for a place on the programme.

The information published on the website of the MA study programme ECUE apply to the verification of the admission requirements (basis are the documents submitted for application by the deadline).

All further information on the application you will find at:

  • deadlines and check-list

Prior to enrolment, obligatory counselling interviews will be held with all selected applicants in the course of September, either by telephone or in person at the ECUE study programme office.
