Berufseinstiegstag ​

The "Berufseinstiegstag" (career entry day) of the faculty is organized and responsible by the internship office and the coordination office Gender Studies. The career entry day is intended to give students the opportunity to take a closer look at the transition between studies and career. In addition, they should have the opportunity to inform themselves about certain topics and to exchange ideas with experts. 

Gender_Wissen in der Praxis-Tag ​

The Coordination Office for Gender Studies regularly invites all students to the "Gender_Wissen in der Praxis-Tag" (Gender_Knowledge in Practice Day).

Group Counseling

In a regularly scheduled consultation, you can find out about the practical module and internships, as well as about opportunities to study abroad and the faculty's master's programs. 

Promotionstag

The "Promotionstag" (PhD Day) is an information event for students of our faculty who are interested in doctoral studies or want to learn more about this topic. The event is supervised by the internship office and the Gender Studies Coordination Office.

SOPRA e.V

The internship office regularly cooperates with SOPRA e.V., the interdisciplinary alumni network of the Faculty of Social Science. As a non-profit association for the promotion of social science practice at the Ruhr-University Bochum, SOPRA e.V. promotes the interests of graduates and all other groups of people belonging to the faculty. Lunch Lecture on the Topic of Start-Ups

The Zoom lunch lecture, organized by the internship office of the Faculty of Social Science, takes a look at the topic of "start-ups". Our experts present the support opportunities for social scientists at RUB who are interested in starting their own business and report from practical experience.
