Practical Module

Theoretical knowledge alone is not sufficient in most cases to master the entry into professional life quickly and successfully. The practical module therefore provides students with practical experience and skills in various professional fields for social scientists during their studies. The module consists of the independent search for an internship, the preparation of the internship, the internship itself, the evaluation of the internship in the form of a report and the participation in an accompanying course.

Internships

The compulsory internship during the social science studies is intended to support students in developing and concretizing ideas about the applicability of the knowledge and skills acquired during the studies in later professional practice and, secondly, to obtain a professional orientation, which can then also determine the planning and setting of priorities in the further course of studies.
