In Cooperation with AKAFÖ Bochum and the University Language Centre (ZFA), the International Office presents Sprachcafé Bochum. Sprachcafé is a meeting place where RUB students can deepen and practice their foreign language skills in various language chats every week. You can find more information on the website.
At the University Language Centre (ZfA) you have the opportunity to find a tandem partner. The programme offers you the chance to improve your knowledge of a foreign language and at the same time help another person learn your native language. You can decide whether you would like to communicate with your partner in person, online or by e-mail. Find out more on the ZfA website.
As a volunteer Campus Guide, you can help international students to get started at the RUB. You will accompany the incoming students during the orientation week and in their first semester in Bochum. The programme is run by the RUBiss Team of the RUB, you can find more information here.
ESN (= Erasmus Student Network) is a europe-wide student organisation whose main task is to support international students.
