Here you will find all the social science courses in English that you can choose from. These are offered by the Faculty of Social Science, Ruhr-University Bochum, as well as by our partner faculties at the University of Duisburg-Essen and at the TU Dortmund University. RUB students can attend lectures and seminars at the partner universities without additional expenses (public transport is also free for students).

RUB is part of the international university consortium UNIC (European University of Post-Industrial Cities). This is a network of ten universities dedicated to promoting student mobility and social integration. As an exchange student, you have the opportunity to take seminars offered within this network.
Between the lecture periods, RUB offers Summer and Winter Schools every year, in which both students from Bochum and students from other universities can participate. Here you can get an overview of the offers:
