Studying Abroad (Outgoings)

There are many good reasons for studying abroad. The Faculty of Social Science has a comprehensive offer for students in the BA as well as the MA phase to study abroad. Within the scope of the Erasmus programme we co-operate with 18 universities from 12 countries as e.g. the Università degli Studi di Urbino (see photo).

WHY STUDYING ABROAD?

There are so many good reasons... First of all, it will never be that manageable again to spend one year of your academic or occupational time abroad. Further incentives are:
  • Expansion of your personal horizon
  • Foreign language acquisition (learning by doing)
  • Experience of a foreign culture
  • Acquirement of intercultural competences
  • Friendships and contacts across national borders
  • A whole new sense of community ("I'm Erasmuser")
  • No tuition fees for Erasmus students
  • Minimal organizational effort
