The SOPRA e.V. Student Prize is aimed at early-career researchers whose B.A., M.A. thesis, or dissertation demonstrates a particular practical orientation. The award, endowed with a material prize, is given annually and traditionally presented at a graduation ceremony.

SOPRA e.V. funds projects related to the association’s statutory purposes. Students can apply for funding for their various projects.

SOPRA e.V. supports the career orientation event series "QUO VADIS? Berufsfelder für Sozialwissenschaftler*innen" organized by the Faculty’s internship office. Find out about upcoming events!
n this event series of the Gender Studies section, representatives from various professional fields share their experiences. The event focuses on the following questions: What is gender knowledge, and how is it applied in professional practice? What career opportunities arise for graduates with gender knowledge? How can professional fields be transformed by incorporating gender competencies?

SOPRA regularly offers practice-oriented seminars for students as a cooperation partner, primarily at the master’s level. Information on current and upcoming events can be found in the annotated course catalog.
SOPRA e.V. traditionally supports the annual graduation ceremony of the Faculty of Social Science and awards the annual Student Prize for particularly practice-oriented theses. We look forward to meeting you at your graduation ceremony!
